The available positions are intended for graduates of long-duration undergraduate programs (full-degree programs) recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry. They are also open to holders of full-degree university diplomas in other fields, provided they can demonstrate knowledge in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or Mathematics through teaching experience in one of these areas at a public or private school, as well as to professionals working in non-formal or informal educational contexts.

The available positions are for the concentration area Science and Mathematics Education and for the PPGECM research lines, namely:
a) Teacher Education in Science and Mathematics
b) Teaching and Learning in Science and Mathematics

Applications from graduates of short-duration, sequential, or similar programs will not be accepted. Only higher education technologists who have completed programs lasting at least four years will be eligible.
